Ferran Albrich, baritone (Catalonia)
Born in 1990, he starts his musical studies as a cellist. He graduates at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany) He starts his singing studies in Germany in 2013 and afterwards he graduates suma cum laude in Barcelona at the Liceu Conservatoire He was selected in 2019 to participate in the Primer Palau competition in Barcelona and since then has had the opportunity to debut in some of the most recognized festivals in Spain, like the Schubertíada (Spain) o the Barcelona Spring Festival. He has also sung in concert halls such as Palau de la Música Catalana, Auditori de Barcelona, Teatro Calderón de Valladolid, Auditorio Príncipe de Asturias de Oviedo o Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao. In the lied genre he has performed works by Schubert (Winterreise), Schumann (Liederkreis and Dichterliebe), Beethoven (An die ferne Geliebte), Brahms (Vier ernste Gesänge), Debussy (Fêtes Galantes), Poulenc (Tel jour telle nuit) or Copland (Old American Songs).
Jesús López Blanco, piano (Galicia)
With a degree in Piano and Music and History and Music Sciences from the University of La Rioja, this Galician pianist (Lugo, 1990) specializes in chamber music and vocal accompaniment. He studied the master's degree in Lied “Victoria de los Ángeles” at the ESMUC with a scholarship from the Fundació Victoria de los Ángeles, and a master's degree in Liedgestaltung at the Hochschule für Musik de Freiburg im Breisgau. Guardonat as a member of singing and piano duos in various competitions, his activity as an interpreter has played in Germany, Italy, France and Spain, participant in festivals such as Volcadiva, LIFE Victoria or the Schubertíada, and accompaniment by Josep Ramon Olivé, Cecilia Rodríguez, Belén Roig, Sebastià Peris, or Rocío Pérez. Currently, the interpretive facet is compatible with teaching at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears and the Escola Superior de Canto de Madrid.
Cecilia Rodríguez, soprano (Canary Islands)
She studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid, the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" in Weimar, the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, the Sommerakademie Mozarteum, and the Kolleg für Alte Musik “Barock Vokal”. She received lessons from Janet Perry, Edda Moser, Krisztina Laki, Andreas Scholl, Thomas Mohr, Wolfram Rieger, and Helmut Deutsch, among others, and awards such as First Prize at the “Richard Strauss” International Competition in Salzburg, Second Prize at the JM Permanent Competition, and the Ferrer-Salat Prize at the “Tenor Viñas” International Competition in Barcelona. She has sung, among other roles, La Musica (L’Orfeo), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Amore (Il ritorno d'Ulisse), Flaminia (Il mondo della luna), Lisetta (La Gazetta), Lisette (La Rondine), Melia (Apollo und Hyacinth), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), and Frasquita (Carmen).
Marc Serra, piano (Catalonia)
Marc Serra has been described as a musician who “seems to have a primal, respectful, and intimate relationship with music, as if he understood it from the cortex and breathed life into it” (Diari Núvol), and according to the Revista Musical Catalana, he “pays absolute attention to timbre and is subtle, sweet, and tender when bringing out all kinds of sonic nuances from the instrument.” He made his solo debut at the age of sixteen at the Auditori Palau de Congressos in Girona under the baton of Lluís Caballeria and has received numerous national and international awards. He debuted at the Palau de la Música Catalana as part of the “El Primer Palau” series. Much of his artistic activity is devoted to lied: he took part in the recording of the CD Pau i Victòria and in recent years has collaborated with the Lied Master’s program at ESMUC. He has also made his debut at the Schubertíada Vilabertran and LIFE Victoria, among other festivals.
